On the second day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014, the show Grazia Glitz & Glam enlivened the atmosphere of fashion tent at Senayan City. It is an annual event as well as a series of the forth Grazia magazine anniversary celebration.  Pevita Pearce’s Pot Meets Pop Denim was inspired by the underwater world affluent in colors and textures and combined it with denim material on shorts, boyfriend jeans, jeggings, jackets, bralettes, crop tops, and long dresses with a texture gradation resembled fish scales. With Carnaval Clothing, Afgan showcased a collection with the theme “The Kids inside Us” that consisted of jackets, knitwear, shirts with motif accents, slim chinos, and pocket tees that brought back the glory of the young generation in 1980s-1990s Shandy Aulia reconstructed the feminine aura in every woman through ladylike materials such chiffon, lace, and classic, elegant organza. Meanwhile, Denada launched a Kail Bags collection that referred to the exotic desert in an organic construction and an unexpected details application using Swarovski crystals and carved cow bones. Hardware had not only Luna Maya, but also Ariel endorsement under the label of LM & ARL for Hardware. With the theme “Time Traveler”, travelers look was packed with a touch of rebel, sporty style breathed an androgyny look. In addition to fashion show, Grazia gave back Indonesian celebrities special awards that were divided into 8 categories. Here are the winners of each category: The Most Stylish Celeb (Reza Rahadian and Bunga Citra Lestari), Social Media Influencer (Syahrini), The Next Rising Star (Eva Celia), Style Trendsetter (Dewi Sandra), TV Personality (Dedy Corbuzier), Song of the Year (Jodoh Pasti Bertemu), Movie of the Year (Habibie & Ainun), and Model of the Year (Dara Warganegara). |
